Catch-Up Lesson Terms & Conditions

Update July 2026 | Effective 1st September 2026

These terms explain how catch-up lessons work at Good Vibes Music Academy (“Good Vibes”, “we”, “us” or “our”) — including when a catch-up lesson is issued, how long you have to use it, and what happens if you can’t make it. They apply whenever a catch-up lesson is issued to you.

We’ve written them in plain English so they’re easy to follow. If anything is unclear, just email us at hello@gvma.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help.

What we mean by a catch-up lesson

A catch-up lesson is a replacement lesson issued in place of a lesson that didn’t go ahead as planned and notice was provided within the membership terms and conditions, or where a teacher has had to cancel a lesson. These terms apply alongside the terms of the membership the catch-up lesson relates to.

Using your catch-up lesson

How long you have to use a catch-up lesson depends on why it was issued:

Student cancellation: must be booked within 30 days of the affected lesson.

Teacher cancellation: must be booked within 60 days of the affected lesson.

If a catch-up lesson isn’t booked within the relevant time frame, it expires and can no longer be used.

Catch-up lessons can’t be cancelled, rescheduled or rebooked

A catch-up lesson is offered as a one-time replacement. Once booked, it can’t be cancelled, rescheduled or rebooked. If you cancel a catch-up lesson, or don’t attend, the lesson is forfeited — no further catch-up lesson or refund will be given.
