What Will You Learn?

Module 1: Know your Decks

Get to grips with your instrument: understand what does what, how it connects, where to get music, and most importantly, where the play button is!

Module 2: Getting handS on

This is where it gets fun and where you’ll be making music - loading tracks, using the faders, playing with the EQ and understanding how to use the jog wheels.

Module 3: In the mIx

Beat matching is a way of mixing two different tracks together to make one seamless piece of music.

Module 4: Transitions

Bring your transitions to life using by with different techniques using faders and EQ

Understanding song structure is key to knowing when to drop in a new track.

Module 6: THE DROP

The filter is an iconic effect that every DJ uses. Learn how to use it to enhance ‘the drop’ (you’ll learn what ‘the drop’ is too!).

Module 7: BROADCAST

Create a recording of your own live mix to take away, share and upload.

  3. An account is automatically created in our lesson portal

  4. Four lessons will be added to your account (under ‘credits’) within 24hr so you can book them at a time that suits

  5. When you want to book in another session, simply click ‘use’ on the lessons in your account and get booking.
