Free School Drum Lessons with Good Vibes!

We’re bringing the beat to your school—literally.

Drum for Fun is our way of making sure every young person gets the chance to experience the pure joy of drumming. We're teaming up with local schools to offer completely free trial drum lessons, led by none other than Chris Hendy—our incredible, pro-level drum teacher who knows exactly how to bring out the rhythm in every student.

So, if your child goes to Kingsclere Primary, Brimpton C of E, St Nicolas Primary School, or Park House School, get ready—because we’re about to make some noise.

Meet Chris Hendy – The Man Behind the Sticks

If you haven’t seen him yet, check out Chris in action here: Chris Hendy on YouTube. This guy lives and breathes rhythm. From live gigs and studio sessions to music education, Chris brings years of experience, energy, and a serious love for all things drums. He’s passionate about helping young players find their groove—and he knows just how to make those lightbulb moments happen.

What is Drum for Fun?

Simple: it’s a free taster lesson in school-time, so students can see what it’s like to sit behind the kit, pick up the sticks, and learn how to play. No pressure, no expectations—just a chance to discover how fun and powerful drumming can be.

We’ve designed Drum for Fun to be engaging, interactive, and above all, accessible. Whether a student is already tapping on desks or has never held a drumstick in their life, Chris makes sure every lesson is full of confidence-building, creativity, and (you guessed it) good vibes.

What’s Next?

If your child loves the free taster (and trust us, they will), they can sign up for regular lessons either in school or at our buzzing Newbury studio. We’ve got beginner drum courses, group lessons, one-to-ones—you name it. And yes, they’ll even get chances to perform live as part of our awesome line-up of shows and events!
