From Stars to the Stage

At Good Vibes, we believe in learning music you love — and we’re here to help you go as far as you want with it. Whether your dream is to hit the big stage, join a band, or simply grow in confidence, our Star Levels are your launchpad.

Designed in-house by our brilliant teaching team, Star Levels guide students through clear, achievable milestones on their musical journey. But they’re not just about ticking boxes — they’re about unlocking creativity, building real-world musical skills, and having a blast along the way.

So, what are Star Levels?

Think of them as your personal musical roadmap. Each level is built around five core areas that every musician needs:
Ability – getting to grips with your instrument
Musicality – learning to express yourself
Creativity – writing, improvising, and finding your voice
Collaboration – playing with others and being part of something bigger
Performance – stepping up and owning the stage

These pillars not only give our students direction — they create momentum. And momentum is everything when you're learning an instrument.

Here’s where Trinity Rock & Pop comes in.

Our Star Levels are designed to perfectly prepare students for the Trinity Rock & Pop exam framework. That means the skills you’re building in lessons — from technique to confidence — are already aligned with what examiners are looking for.

We help students build performance-ready setlists, understand how to play with a band, and focus on musical expression — not just the notes on the page. It's a natural next step for students who want a recognised qualification without losing the fun and energy that brought them to music in the first place.

Why it works:
Our students tell us they feel more prepared, more confident, and more excited about taking an exam. And because the first Trinity Rock & Pop exam is included FREE with membership, there’s no pressure — just progression.

So whether you're aiming for Grade 1 or dreaming of Grade 8, the path starts here — with your next Star.
