Good Vibes Music Academy has been over 20 years in the making, built from a deep passion for teaching and a commitment to helping young people discover what making music can truly mean for them.
As a parent, you want more than just weekly music lessons. You want your child to feel supported, to stay engaged, and to develop a lifelong love for music — even when it’s challenging. That’s exactly what we focus on at Good Vibes.
I spent over two decades performing and teaching with some of the world’s top classical musicians. Now, I’ve brought that experience into the rock and pop world and built a team of pro musicians invested in creating future musicians — teachers who are not only highly skilled, but who care deeply about how your child learns, grows, and connects with music.
When I was growing up, I wasn’t a natural player. Learning was hard. But I had a few great teachers who helped me through – they made lessons fun, kept me moving forward, and believed in me when I was ready to give up. That experience drives everything we do here.
Not every child takes to music straight away. That’s okay. We’re here to guide them through those early stages, keep things inspiring, and help them find their own connection to music.
We also embrace technology – from recording to music software – to make lessons modern, engaging, and full of real-world creative tools that our students love.
Keeping a focus on making lessons relevant and engaging. Having a clear understanding of how to assess students progress and thinking about the impact our words have within our teaching keeps our students exploring new music, expanding their skills and inspires them to keep playing!
At Good Vibes we know there is a direct link between how much a student plays and their progress. We see it as our job to keep them playing as much as possible.
We aim to achieve this through lessons at our fantastic high-street studio and in schools, through our workshops and performance opportunities and through each of our brilliant pro-musician teachers.
At Good Vibes, students are taught by pro musicians who understand the journey and are committed to helping them thrive. We are GVMA ans we create future musicians.
